Site Systems

There are multiple different systems used for throughout the site for gameplay! Below is a brief summary of our various systems. Click on navigational links for detailed information.

Rift Force
Rift Force is what a character earns throughout their life in the Rift. As it accumulates, it allows the beholder to gain magic, companions, ranks, and fame (or infamy).

Paths
coming soon... ;]

Prowess
Prowess indicates the skill level of a characters in either fighting or stealing. Prowess is earned by participating in either of these arts. Gaining Prowess will unlock different abilities for characters.

Fighting
Fighting may be for training, recreation, or true battle. Fights are judged by admin and fighting earns Prowess.

Stealing
Stealing may be for fun or profit, and is dependent on character stats. Stealths are judged by admin and stealing earns Prowess.

Breeding
Two characters may choose to breed in the Rift, however it is not a safe place to raise children! Our breeding form is automated, but we do require breeding threads.

Herds
Herds are founded by characters grouping together and claiming an area as theirs. Characters in herds are generally safer from stealths and fights.

Invasions
Herds can be invaded! It's really quite simple.. in theory. ;)
