Feeling overwhelmed? We understand! This this Guidebook is hefty with a lot of information. Never fear, we’ve provided a ‘Quick Start’ guide for you here! Read the Rules-- they’re not too long and immensely helpful! TL;DR version of Premise: the Rift is a dimension/realm that is filled with sick, corrupted magic. Helovian gods (from another world/mother site) murdered the Riftian gods, so another Riftian force named Kaos destroyed Helovia and brought everyone to the Rift. What you need to know from our ‘Systems’: Read Rift Force and keep an eye out for others trying to steal from your character! (Jumping into a herd may be a safe bet!) Otherwise, don’t worry about memorizing our systems, but make sure you refer to their GB sections whenever you’re about to utilize any of them! Extras: If you are joining a character with a wild appearance, then it would behoove you to read Mutations. Otherwise, there are many goodies that you can get for your character! However, none of them are necessary for beginning. So, if you’re overwhelmed, then just get to posting and don’t stress about it until you want companions/items/magic for your character! Have fun!
