Trials
  1. Trials are sets of tasks or challenges that the Rift Presence may set forth to characters who dare to ask.
  2. Characters may only seek one thing per trial. However, they may seek anything in that trial.
    • i.e. magic, removing magic, replacing magic, companions, companion magic, enchanted items, enchantments on existing items, mutations, removal of mutations, curing health defects, etc.
    • When seeking magic, please refer to the magical database to ensure the uniqueness of your own.
  3. A character must have enough Rift Force to obtain what they Trial for.
  4. There is a minimal risk, albeit still a risk, that your reward will be corrupted when you finish your trial.
  5. A character may seek a trial once every 30 days. A trial is not guaranteed! The Rift is wild and unpredictable.
    • For the same reason, trials will vary in difficulty and length.
  6. A character may only be on up to 2 trials at once.
  7. Foals may start trials, but might find them difficult to complete.
  8. Mark your Trial threads with the "T" prefix. If the Trial requires you to, for example, collect/interact with Rift creatures, please state so in an OOC note when you make the thread.
  9. Trials auto-fail after 9 months. A character may not refuse a trial once put on one; nor may they opt to fail early. A failed trial cannot be re-activated.
  10. Trials are auto-generated. Once submitted, a trial's reward must be approved by admin.
  11. All trial threads must be Completed and Archived before the trial may be finished and reward applied.
  12. Visit here to try for a trial. You may also manage/submit trials there.
