Ruwin
They appeared from the portal, one after the other. The first trailing ice, the other in flames. Both were young. No adults came through after them. He watched with cool eyes, unperturbed by the flaming filly when she finally took note of him. She was seeking as much strength from her companion that she was showing him now. Her bluster did nothing to stir any form of reaction from the stoic being before them. He simply looked her in the eye, gaze unflinching, emotionless. Yet behind them there was a weight, a presence that could fill a room and quiet a crowd. He would not take any lip or threats from her. She was but a yearling, he a seasoned warrior. And as the presence of the rift swept over them, she was touched by its presence. As her brother was, it would seem.
The other yearling was less hostile as he took notice of the older stallion's presence. In fact he barely paid him any mind as the motion of his mechanical creatures caught the young lad's eye. Ruwin's head cocked as he watched the kid slip and slide as he tried to follow one of his spiders, completely entranced by the metal being. No one had ever been so fascinated with his creations before. He had to admit that it was rather amusing. When Vynter bumped into his he merely looked down at him, the corner of his eyes softening slightly.
He did not move to rebuke or harm the boy who was so enthused by his spiders. Nor did he back up to restore his personal space. The younger one's exclamation actually brought a small smile to his lips. Though it was gone so quickly one would question whether it had even been there at all. Taking command of one of his machines he sent it crawling back towards Vynter. With spindly legs it tapped on his hoof before aiming to crawl up his leg to his shoulder. If the boy did not freak out it would eventually perch between his ears. "Keep it." Ruwin said, happy to find someone that enjoyed his spiders as much as he did.
