K'yarie
She noticed the change that came upon the girl. The way she held her head, the highness of her steps. All in a manner to carry herself with more grace and poise so as to impress her guide. Though next to the larger, celestial being, with body caked in mud she may appear comical to others. Her efforts were not lost upon K'yarie who was slightly touched that she would go through such trouble. She had become quite taken with her, so it would seem. The godly being found her soft lips curling into another smile as she strode beside her little companion.

Though she was sure her new follower would do everything in her power to keep pace with her, the star-blessed was not so self absorbed as one may believe. She considered the other's shorter gate, and graciously adjusted her own. Settling into a pace that would be comfortable for the both of them. Her mane and tail once against streamed out behind her, waving and curling as they glowed and twinkled in the darkness. The star-like orbs that floated about the mare danced around the two, lighting their path and the surrounding darkness in various, colorful hues. Kissing the younger's fur with their light as they hovered near her, whispering words in an ancient tongue, before skittering away to fly ahead.

As they walked her lost little lamb spoke, introducing herself as Valkyrie. Again her neck arched as gracefully as a swan as she gazed down at Valkyrie. "You may call me, K'yarie." Her named rolled off of her tongue like a magic spell. "It is a pleasure to meet you, dear Valkyrie." Her head lifted to gaze out across the path that they walked. Her stars crested the rise seconds before them. She slowed, her breath leaving her lips in a contented sigh as the view of the lake came into view. Spread out before them, nestled in the protective grasp of pine trees and mountain, was the lake. The surface, as still as glass, perfectly reflected the heavens above. Billions of stars twinkled within the black depths, as if a piece of the sky had fallen to the earth and come to rest atop this summit.

The sight was truly breathtaking and it caused the mare pause as she basked in the serene beauty of her home. This would be one of the few night left before the skies would be closed by a veil of clouds and her stars were hid from her. She would not be able to gaze comfortably upon this pristine view until the season of the Drench had passed. A reverent stillness settled over the woman. A softness, touching her features. This was her true love. The night and all of its splendor. "Beautiful." She breathed, her head titling to her companion, eyes sparkling. "Is it not?"

She would wait until the other drank her fill of the beautiful view before descending towards the lake. Her tail would drift towards Val, dissolving into millions of sparkled as it brushed against her shoulder. "It is beautiful, but deadly." She spoke as she drifted down towards the waters. Her words alluding to far more than just that of the waters. "For dangerous creatures lurk beneath its surface." She smiled again as she looked to her companion. "But I shall watch over you as you bathe. None will dare come near."She couldn't have her new admirer become prey to some siren or other beast of this world. Her hooves kissed the water's edge before she took a confidant step within the waves. A galaxy swimming among the vastness of space. The star-like orbs danced across the water, sparkling against the ripples created by their master. Several descended beneath the waves, lighting up the lake and revealing the sand beneath. None would sneak up upon Valkyrie as she bathed. The angelic being stopped as the water reached her knees before turning to face Valkyrie.
