Valkyrie would reach for the charm, only to find it vanished into shadow along with its wearer. She had indeed caught her. The goddess would be keeping a subtly closer eye on her ambitious follower. For if she could so much as attempt to steal from her, what else might she be willing to do. The faith and adoration of mortals was a tricky, fickle thing. She would have to watch her. A betrayal from her most trusted, most beloved, would be a shattering blow.
The goddess gave no indication of such thoughts. She turned, her head slowly sweeping backwards to gaze upon Val. Her deep violet pools took her in. She halted in her original comment. But the woman let it slide. She had no doubt that she would tell her. For she was her celestial being. Her protector and love. All she had to do was wait. Or press the right buttons. A smile touched those velvet lips as she gave a gracious incline of her head. "Lead the way. Fore this is your task now. I can only assist." She hummed. "Such are the rules of this trial." She was not one to willingly follow. But for power, she would allow Valkyrie to take the lead. Only Valkyrie.
