She walked through the rain and shadows. Her form moving as fluidly as water as she followed a path she knew by heart. One that would forever be engrained in her memories. She was lost in her memories as she walked. It was a time very similar to this one. Rain had fallen, misting the earth in its damp, cold touch. The scent of blood had mixed with the rain. Her blood. Her fear. She had been younger then, new to the realm of the rainforest. Unaware of the beasts that hunted its paths.
She had encountered some of those predators and they had ambushed her, injuring her greatly. She was unable to escape, her magic had failed her. She should have died. But he appeared. He saved her from certain death. Rushing in, metal wings spread wide like a bird of prey descending from the heavens. Her memory was fragmented at best. Blood. Running. Screams of battle. The touch of another as they lead her through the madness. Then darkness and safety. She withdrew from her thoughts as she came closer to her destination.
She paused, her eyes narrowing as she saw the ivy and vines disturbed. Odd. No one knew about this place. No one except. She slowly approached the giant tree, her steps cautious. Carefully brushing the foliage aside she peered in. The scent of burnt flesh, fur, and blood assaulted her nose, she snorted in displeasure. Slowly her eyes adjusted to the dark and she let out a small gasp. Laying limp in the darkness was the familiar form of Watcher. She was instantly at his side.
"Oh Watcher, my pet." She crooned, brushing her lips against his ear. "What happened?" Her gaze swept over him, surveying the damage. His front legs were severely burned and the damage seemed to span onto his belly. Again the memories flashed in her mind of this lone stallion that had come to her aid and protected her from harm. A debt she had never been able to repay. One she fully intended to return in full.

Tell me a story
About how the sun loved the moon so much;
He died every night
to let her breath.

ooc: We get to see a little bit of history between these two. Still open, just throwing K'yarie in for fun. Since @Valkyrie is in the habit of following my girl right now... I'll tag her in case you want to reply, Nat.
