Roscorro
He stopped when Otem called out. Then proceeded to smile in amusement as the girl boasted about her accomplishments. He gave a dismissive shrug when she apologized. No offense had been taken, no harm done. He was happy to differ to the younger mare in terms of the metus. She had faced it twice and therefore had more knowledge. But when she spoke of how she thought he would accept the light, he offered a small frown. He had tried to give the Magnus Metus hope before, and he had fled. The tribrid was not sure that this mission would be as easy as the autumn clad mare thought it would be. But one could hope. Perhaps now that it had had time to reflect upon the feeling the ball of light gave, it would desire it. Crave it. One would never know until they actually faced the Metus.

His gaze traveled to the starry Frisian that had joined them. His face lighting up in surprise when she spoke. How did she know that he had faced this beast before? Oh wait, he had the scars to prove it. Then again, there were probably a ton of long claws monsters in this world. She spoke as if she knew about the metus. Had she met it before? He couldn't not ask. He could not speak. As she inspected the stallion t hat came with them the Clydesdale's gaze turned to him. He was indeed injured. The scent of blood could attract attention. But before any of them could offer any sort of opinion on the matter, a hissing voice reached out to them. His head whipped around, nostrils flaring as he let out a puff of air.

Storm grey eyes instantly feel upon the sad form of the once great Metus. His heart, pounding in fear a second ago, now ached. He had taken part in bringing this fierce creature so low. But he had no way of aiding it. he couldn't simply so out and kill another animal in order to feed him. If the Magnus would even accept such an offering, the wanderer could not bring himself to take a life. He stood beside Otem as she addressed the Metus, not at all afraid. Then her owl descended with a meager offering. Doing something the brown and orange dragon-kin could not. It was laughable how small the mouse looked before the massive creature. It couldn't even be considered a snack for this massive hunter. A silent as he was before, Roscorro waited. Watching.
