Trial Akvo City

The deed was done. The coral was thoroughly destroyed. She studied a particularly pretty piece of pink coral that lay in the sand. Valkyrie might find it enjoyable to look at. Receiving a gift may cheer her up. Being trapped within the body of a stallion was a terrible experience for the girl. Though K'yarie secretly found the irony amusing. She understood what Hope was trying to achieve by changing the maiden. But somehow the dark mare could not see it ultimately changing Valkyrie's beliefs. Neither would a swift kick in the pants, though sometimes the mare wished it would.

The girl was so deeply engrained with the teaching of her people. So arrogant and hypocritical. K'yarie wondered what it would take to inspire a positive change within the maiden. To lessen the degree of hate and distain the smaller woman felt towards men. Gently holding her prize between velvet lips, the mare swam on. Leaving the shelter of the smaller streets for the wider causeway. Her shinning orbs floated around her. Some lit the way while others explored in lazy circles around her. Fanning out and spinning off when something caught their fancy. They whispered and chattered to each other about the fallen city. All of which K'yare ignored.

The shadows danced around her, licking her hooves. She kept them close, her magic buzzing just beneath the surface. All was still eerily quiet, she did not trust it. Eager to return to the surface, she had not yet noticed the predator that lurked within the darkness.

Tell me a story
About how the sun loved the moon so much;
He died every night
to let her breath.
