Glass half empty, glass half full.
Well either way you, won't be going thirsty.
Count your blessing not your flaws.
He should have known that the Metus was too clever to be tricked by the same move, but he had to try. Its roar filled the air as it whirled around to face him. It should have attacked, it should have launched itself at him again. Yet it hesitated. Its own blood had been spilled in its last attack. It filled the air with the metallic stench, combining with that of the scent of the tribrid's own blood. The stallion had been ready to leap when the Metus attacked. Now he just stood there, ready to move again should he need to. In the back of his mind the voice screamed at him to charge into the creature. It was more than twice his size, and was in a position to pounce so its center of gravity was lower than if it were standing at full height. Knocking it back would be difficult. He was not keen on the idea of entering within reach of those claws either. It seemed the Metus had the same thought about him, that was why it had stopped.

He watched as it long tongue flicked outwards, searching for him. So it still was not entirely sure of his location. He moved quietly sideways once more, trying to face the Metus's side rather then its front. As the tongue grew closer he did not move away, instead he reached out try and grab the tongue in a firm grasp and yank, hard! The vicious tug was aimed out to the side of the stallion so it would pull the Metus forward and hopefully cause it to stumble and expose more of its side. The plan was for the jerk to be powerful enough to set the beast off balance before he charged forward, head low. He aimed for the monster's side where he could deal more damage as he attempted to ram the Metus. If he hit his horns would drive deep into its flesh, using the power of his breed to try and bowl the monster over. He looked a lot like a rhinoceros as he charged, orange horns gleaming in the dim light. If he succeeded he would retreat once more to avoid those terrible claws.

If he was unable to grab the tongue the stallion would still charge, knowing that his actions would have drawn the beast's attention, he will need to react. Though this time, instead of aiming to barrel into the Metus with his horns, he would whirl around on his front legs to strike out with his powerful back hooves. Hoping to hit the Metus before aiming to retreat again, using his wings to launch him into the air. His heart pounded in his ears and his inner voice continued to spur him on. Screaming at him to kill the thing and enforce his superiority and dominance. Rosco ignore the voice. He had no desire to actually kill the Metus, only challenge it. If the next attack hit he would get out of here. Hopefully he would be alive and well enough to retreat for real this time.

Roscorro

@Rift Presence
OOC: The Metu's tongue found Rosco, but not in the way it thought. Rosco aims to grab a hold of the Metu's tongue and jerk on it really hard to try and pull it off balance before charging in. He aims to ram the Metus in the side with his horns, hoping to throw it to the ground before running off again.

If he does not get the tongue he is still going to charge, this time aiming for a more ranged attack with is hind legs. He also attempts to get air born after this attack. Go ahead and choose which path to take and if his attack actually hits!
You have my permission to use magic/force against Roscorro.
Maiming and killing is not allowed, though.
