You'll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky when we walked in fields of gold

Like Isopia, Otem was uncomfortable with prolonged encounters with others. However unlike her mother, the girl did not let this awkwardness display on her features, nor did she in turn want others to know of it. So as the man's eyes dipped from her gaze towards her shoulder, Otem simply coughed slightly and allowed her eyes to roam the tops of the trees, trying to make it seem as though she hadn't even been aware that his gaze had dropped. She'd already considered Tamlin to be a fairly weird fellow ... maybe this was just one of his quirks?

He lunged, and because her gaze was high only Pandora saw what his intentions were. Otem felt her shoulder slice open in a streak of white-hot pain, her body immediately pulling away from the point of his horn defensively. But of course it was already too late. A clean and long line of blood had formed over her soil-coloured shoulder, small tributaries of blood already falling to the ground.

"WHAT-" She squealed, child-like and temporarily stunned. Her wings folded across her body as if her fine feathers could somehow protect her from further attack. Instinctively she conjured her magic, an an earth sprite appeared at her side. Cloaked in tree-bark and ivy, the ethereal creature glared at the unicorn, ready to strike should he try to attack once again. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT." The child demanded, suddenly wishing more than she ever had before that Vulcan was here with her.
