Neither stallion connected. Roscorro had slowed his decent before he was to slam into Korri. He didn't actually want to hurt the stallion. In that action he managed to avoid the other's counter strike, a hoof whisking harmlessly past his nose. That would have hurt!
They were now on the ground once more. Roscorro gave another shake of his mane, ridding himself of the bloody vision that still haunted the back of his mind. He was not that kind of person. It was the voice and its darkness that sought to invade his thoughts, sought control. It was a piece of vermin that needed to be exterminated from his mind. Inwardly the voice growled, growing darker as it seethed. What ever Korri had seen in the sky, was no more. Roscorro had returned as he gave a light chuckle. "I thought I had you there." In answer to the question the giant's wings unfurled and he was air born once more. He rose with deceptive speed.
He clawed at the air as if he aimed to beat Korri into the highest reaches of the sky. Though he was sure the lark would overtake him. He slowed, as if labored in his climb. Tempting the other to pass him. To draw closer. The second he did, Roscorro would role away. Lashing out with his tail and mace. The blow would not harm if it connected, held back by the Crown. No, it would only sting as he aimed to hit the other where wing and shoulder connected. In the tender most part of the underwing. As he flipped in the air to plummet once more, he'd also aim to grab hold of the other's tail with his teeth, aiming to at least jerk him down towards the earth and bellow him once more.
