Glass half empty, glass half full.
Well either way you, won't be going thirsty.
Count your blessing not your flaws.
Silence.

Nothing stirred within the swirling curtains of mist that swirled around the great Clydesdale. He knew something was here. The silence spoke volumes. Nothing stirred within the maze. No birds sang. Nor were there any sounds of small creatures scampering away at soft thud of his footfall. Within this silence, a predator dwelled. His movements were cautious as he tried to peer through the mist. His nostrils flared as he tried to pinpoint this creature's location. But none of his senses detected anything. Nothing but fog, damp, and quiet. He shifted his wings nervously. How was he supposed to draw this creature out? If he kept wandering blindly through this maze he was certain that he would fall into a trap. The predator could circle around him and attack from behind. It knew this land far better than he. It had the tactical advantage. But he couldn't just sit there either. It was moments like these that he wished he had been allowed into the world. Maybe if he was more battle tested he'd feel less afraid. Then again, that might not be the best thing.

But how to get the other to come to him? His claws brushed against stones and he looked down. A crazy thought formed in his mind. If he couldn't see this monster, then maybe it was in the same boat? He quietly gathered as many stones that he could find, careful to keep within the area he had traveled and was familiar with. Nothing like surprise drops or monster dens to ruin your plans and end your life. Lifting a paw to his lips he bit down, using his fangs to pierce his flesh where hardened scales did not protect. Blood oozed from the wound, not enough to be a concern but it would do for his little scheme. Brushing blood onto all of the rocks he had collected he began awkwardly tossing them. They clattered on the ground ahead. Leaving drops of blood behind when a wet patch on the rocks happened to hit the earth.

He wasn't sure if what ever was out there would be fooled by the ruse. But maybe the scent of blood and the noise would be enough to make it come in for a closer look? Head low, wings at the ready, the stallion crept forward. Each step was silent. He tentavily felt the ground with his forepaws before each step, ensuring that nt rocks or dead bamboo lay beneath them before he applied his full weight. His hooves were far more tricky to cause to fall silent, forcing him to move slower then he cared. But if he could get the jump on this apex predator. Then maybe he'd have half a chance? All he had to do was challenge it. He didn't have to stick around for a true fight. Did he?

Roscorro

@Rift Presence
OOC: Rosco is attempting to draw the Metus out by using stones covered in his own blood as a decoy. Hopefully his aim was true since he's just blindly tossing rocks into the fog. xD
You have my permission to use magic/force against Roscorro.
Maiming and killing is not allowed, though.
