otem You'll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky when we walked in fields of gold [OF COURSE IT'S OKAY!!! :D ] Mother? Even though Otem herself was sulkily and mopily missing her own Mother, hearing the words she might well have said herself come out of this stallion's mouth just seemed...odd. Wasn't he fully grown? Why did he need to talk to his mother? Maybe he was a bit ... slow? And yet .. the words that came out of his mouth next were reasonable and polite and well-spoken. Strange Otem thought to herself without much thought. This was a strange place afterall, and he'd apparently slept through the whole ordeal that brought them here. Maybe he was allowed to be a little bit out of it. "Thanks." She murmered awkwardly, swishing her tail and adjusting the placement of her wings against her flanks. "I think we all went through a bit of an ordeal...whether we remember it or not." She added with a trill of force childish laughter, trying to make light of the situation despite how dire things really were.
