Her sister's reaction was not at all what the gold splashed girl was expecting and for a moment she wondered if she had been mistaken. She wondered if it was only someone who looked like her sister. Her ears fell back, scarlet eyes widening and she backpeddaled. "Letha, stop!" She shouted, hoping despite her doubt that she had been right in assuming the mare was who she thought she was. At the last moment her course altered, but Requiem continued backward several more steps before she finally stopped. Now that Letha was closer she could get a better look at her and concern filled her eyes as she took in the matted hair, sweat slicked skin, and she scars that littered her body. The Rift had been hard on her, obviously. it was no wonder she had reacted with such violence to being surprised. Finally it seemed that her older sister had calmed and gathered her wits. "Don't cry, Letha." The younger girl murmured when she saw the tears on her sister's face. "It's okay. Everything's okay." And it would stay that way as long as Letha stayed with her. The extended muzzle was enough of an invitation for Requiem. She rushed forward, wings spreading to wrap around Letha's shaking body. "I missed you." She whispered. "Welcome home." "." R E Q U I E M
