Requiem couldn't remember how long she had been alone in the Rift after her family had been ripped apart. Her mother and father were nowhere to be found, nor was either of her siblings. They had all gone through the portal together, ushered by their mother, and yet none of them arrived together. She had long since given up on finding any of them and had, instead, begun focusing on forging new bonds with those that were in the same situation she was in... or at least similar situations.

Her sister's reaction was not at all what the gold splashed girl was expecting and for a moment she wondered if she had been mistaken. She wondered if it was only someone who looked like her sister. Her ears fell back, scarlet eyes widening and she backpeddaled. "Letha, stop!" She shouted, hoping despite her doubt that she had been right in assuming the mare was who she thought she was.

There was nothing Requiem wanted to do more than stop her sister from crying. It had been so long since she'd seen her -- they'd both practically been babies when they'd escaped Helovia. She held her sister for as long as the bigger girl would allow and when she felt that Letha needed space she finally let go and took a few steps back. Scarlet eyes roamed over her older sister's body, taking in the scars, the fresh cuts, the tangled mane, the tears, and her heart ached fiercely. Why hadn't she spent more time searching for her? Could Gabriel be out there searching for them? Their mother? Their father?
