As soon as he had pinpointed the creature; it was like a floodgate that had been opened. Soon everyone was crowding around him, but the one that made him the most uncomfortable was Valkyrie. She moved with her usual saunter, and although he tried his hardest not to he couldn't stop himself from watching the way her hips swayed. He adverted his gaze to uncertainly meet hers, and it was then what he realized she had been trying to whisper something to him. Given the cocky smirk plastered across her dainty features, it was likely what she had to say wasn't entirely kind. Thankfully, he couldn't hear if it was or not; but her hot breath on his ear caused something to stir in him that he didn't understand.
Instinctively he pulled away from her, avoiding her gaze and once again trying to find the creature once again. Before much could be done the filly from before came forward; extremely forward and intrusive in the Tree's space. Although the electrical child obviously meant well, he could tell by the movement of her lips that she was talking loud and likely right in the plant's face. That wasn't a smart move in Vynter's opinion. The thing was terrified and felt trapped, and a creature twice its size that was loud with an overwhelming energy approaching it would not put it at ease. He sensed but didn't acknowledge Ruwin's approach, yet when he positioned himself in such a way to block a path the boy was once again disapproving.
Yes, they needed to herd the young thing to safety; but doing it by force didn't seem to be the way to do it for him. There had to be a better result. Yet before the yearling could do anything the tree was off sprinting, scrambling to get away from the terrifying creatures trying to surround it. And as it passed the one known as Kaos; the beast began to part its jaws ever so hungrily. Within seconds Vynter bolted forward, ears swinging towards the back of his head in warning and his body sprinting in an attempt to block the path between the tree and Kisamoa. Although he wasn't entirely graceful in his movements he had been certain with him, and he locked eyes with the man sternly with a look that gave a clear warning.
Whatever the beast's intentions were, the boy didn't trust it, and because his main goal right now was to protect this Tree and escort it safely home; he would hold off anyone that might hinder that. When he was certain Kisamoa would not pursue his thought further, the boy took off into the tree's direction at a soft trot; making it clear that he was following the tree, but not wanting to chase it.

Vynter's pissed that everyone is overcrowding the Tree, and once it runs he goes to follow. On the way he attempts to block the path of Kaos so he doesn't try and eat the thing.
