Zoeya
Fire burned through her leg as she looked up at the handsome colt. He rushed forward like he was going to help her, but stopped and stepped away. Her heart flinched at his rebuke. She blinked up at the grullo paint wishing he had helped her up. 'Maybe he is shy.' Ajax whispered the words in her mind trying to sooth her. Her heart twitched once more as the creamy mare smiled down at her. Her voice was warm and gentle as she spoke to her. Honey brown eyes gazed upon the creamy mare. She nodded her dual horned head in answer to her question. Her heart hammering wildly in her breast.
Of course she could heal herself, but she didn't want to weaken herself in front of an enemy. She had to be sure they would not attack her once she was weakened. As the winged mare gave her advice to help her leg, a smile graced her own features. She watched her a strange feeling trickling through her. "I'm Zoeya," Ajax stepped forward his right leg hitting the ground lightly. His long feathers trailed behind him and his husky head tilted slightly as he eyed the strange lady. "This is Ajax, he is a Grffin." She grinned lopsidedly feeling giddy for a reason unknown to her. "My leg will be fine in a moment." She closed her eyes and focused on her injured legs. Small lightning bolts shot from the end of her horns and flew to her afflicted limb. Warmth spread through her, burning at firs, before easing. Her eyes opened as she looked at the pretty lady again. She stretched her leg forward and nodded in satisfaction. Even though she was no exhausted she wasn't in pain.
A small yawn slipped from her white lips as she turned to see what the others were doing. The colt had wondered off and was staring at a tree. Ajax affirmed what she had been pondering. He had watched the tree move while Zoeya had spoken the mare. She watched Valkyrie walk towards the colt before following. There was something about being with others that seemed to make the girl stronger and bolder. She missed the words she had hissed to the odd winged colt. She stepped past them a warm gentle smile falling over her face. Her voice was calm and caring, "Hello Living Tree, I'm Zoeya. We aren't here to hurt you, we want to help." She paused her a moment her ears pricked slightly. "The Matron sent some of us, to help you. We are trying to heal the Rift." She relaxed her stance trying not to seem threatening.
