The tribrid finally spoke, his words like a thunderstorm in the young lad's ears.
Yet he paid no mind, for he was too focused on the way in which the man's front paws moved. As soon as the palm was revealed to him he was once again immediately focused; lips brushing the tender pad with the utmost curiosity. It was warm to the touch, calloused from much walking most likely, yet seemed to easily protect itself from this heat. He pondered how this would work. Whilst his head turned to and fro around the massive appendage; it was the final comment that had the boy lifting to meet the brute's gaze.
He attempted to right himself, only to be stopped by the sudden siding beneath his feet. Despite the air being hot and sticky, the ground underneath his hooves appeared to be ice. With each step he took more formed, and if he were to stay still for even just a moment; he would lose his balance and fall. So he had come up with a system, where instead of constantly stomping his long legs in place, he would simply slide ever so slightly back and forth. His body swayed every so gently, causing him to glide a few inches to the left, and then the right. Miraculously, he remained balanced upon all four hooves.
Once situated he looked over his new companion with glimmering eyes, intrigued by his entire presence. What made the Gods make all horses just so unique and different? Was there an algorithm that they followed that calculated which being would be born next? Or did they simply make them on a whim? He had always sought for answers of how everything came to be, and so far in his short life he hadn't found many answers. But he had found some incredibly fascinating creatures. He took a moment to sniff at the man's beard, looking up at him calmly, before finally answering his questions,"Helovia. And you?"
