AURELIA The horse that washed up on the shore of the island was not what she expected. He was, for lack of a better term, hot. Aurelia stood quietly still as his orb rushed towards her. It abruptly stopped before her, bobbing with her own orb. She watched the spherical balls of light with curiosity, wondering if they were sentient like the beast near the portal here was. He approached slowly, and if Aurelia had to make a guess as to why it would be because he was probably tired considered he swam here like a fish. The wings on his back were usless, clearly. Aurelia's eyes shifted from the orbs to the stallion as he drew near. She stretched her muzzle towards him, hoping he'd bump it in a civil way of greeting, but doubted he would. He seemed ornery more than anything. After a few moments, she withdrew her muzzle. Aureate eyes scanned him quickly, interested. Aurelia was an odd-looking mare, literally sparkling as she stood there staring. Nothing about her was normal, from her white pupils to her unusual markings she seemed as though she should be in an exhibit in a zoo or museum. This stranger was odd too, but in a different way than Aurelia. He was muscular, rugged, and delectable. At his flank are metal wings, glinting under the sun's rays. She silently wondered if she were to just reach out and touch them if they would burn her, after all, metal can get extremely hot quickly when given the chance. He appears to be a buckskin but has almost tribal-looking swirls covering his features. Though she'd already tried to greet him with a bump of her snout, words also seemed important to create a conversation. "You look familiar," she said breathily. At first, she couldn't remember at all, but then she did. He had been at the tree when she was- the tree that bestowed gifts on all sorts of Riftians and Helovians alike. Although Aurelia hadn't said anything to him (or anyone for that matter), she remembered vaguely the faces that had gathered around the tree- he was definitely one of them, she was sure of it the more she thought about it. "Ah yes.." she started. "The tree." The golden pegasus didn't offer any more information, but she figured he'd get the gist of what she was talking about. ooc; i hope its ok she remembers his face a little from the tree of light thread? if not just let me know and ill edit the post :p à la folie; to madness
