Vynter the Hopebringer
Currently championing:
#2

His breath came heavily from his lips as he pulled away from the large boulder before him. There wasn't much in this crumbling land, but one thing's for sure; there were a lot of rocks. The reason why this was important was because Vynter needed to find giant rocks at this current moment in time. The reason he needed to find giant rocks was because he needed to push them, and the reason why he needed to push him was so that he could go stronger.

As soon as he had gotten his hearing and wings back, there was a new set of goals that the boy wanted to achieve. He wanted to be able to fly, and to also build muscle so that he could defend himself if needed and be able to walk with more grace. What his mind refused to acknowledge was that he was also strength training to impress a certain filly that often invaded his mind. It was her image in his mind that caused him to continuously ram into the side of the boulder, using brute strength to attempt to move the mass forward. Although there hadn't been much progress, he had been going at it for hours, and his muscles ached and burned from all the strain.

Although the skies were darkening with a clear sign of an upcoming storm, his body remained slick with sweat, and eyes squinted in exhausted concentration. He needed a break, to drink water and let his body recuperate; but something deep inside refused to let him rest. So it was with another deep breath did he charge forward, slamming his left shoulder into the boulder with a loud grunt. Hind hooves dug into the sand, teeth gritting and eyes shutting tight to prevent sweatdrops from falling into them. And as he continued to push he didn't hear the other many approaching.

When it felt like his legs might explode from the excessive pressure of pushing did he pull back, still gasping for air and attempting to recover from his workout. Although he had only been doing this for the past couple of days (religiously mind you, like a well oiled machine), his body had begun to reconstruct his lanky appearance into a soft sinewy structure. He could feel his strength growing, his body filling out with muscle and his stamina increasing daily. Because although Vynter was an easily distracted, curiously awkward boy; when he was determined to do something his drive was infallible. So he worked and worked until he would collapse, and when he would awake the next day he would continue to work on his physique.
