Although the colt had asked a question, it had been more out of obligation and not curiosity. It did not matter where the man had come from, but that he was here now; and this thought was enough to send the curious boy's mind into a tizzy as he began to walk/glide around the brute silently. As he slipped about, his muzzle trailed along the thick coat of the man, taking in every tendril along his ivory maw. Closing his eyes he sighed, pleased with this new find. While most would find this to be utterly disturbing, Vynter lacked the social construct to understand just how so.
His world slowly shifted back into reality at the stallion's next question, causing him to slowly come to a stop to his right and lifting his delicate face to meet his. As eyes of ice stared deeply into his darker ones, there wasn't much emotion crossing between his pale complexion. Although the boy understood why he was being asked that question; he couldn't really begin to answer it without unleashing more. Although the Pegasus enjoyed asking questions himself, answering them was something he would never get used to. He could be a hypocrite sometimes.
There was a pause between the two, feeling as if seconds were turning into a minutes, as Vynter let his mind wrap around the innocent question. He knew the answer. It was no. His parents did not come with because they physically couldn't. One had died just after he was born and the other was killed right before they burst through the portal. He had mourned for one, but felt indifferent for the other. Was this a normal response to have? Did this pertain to the question he had previously been asked? He could answer the question in multiple ways; but what way made the most sense at this very moment. He would need to think about that.
Letting a puff of air leaves his nostrils, the boy continued to stare into his companion's eyes blankly and bleating out in a matter of fact tone,"No."
