oh look, a dragon!
Private Uwaritace
Requiem
Currently championing: Reszo
#3
"I'm here."

The voice that answered her was deep, gruff, unmistakably masculine, and very different from the one that had whispered Uwaritace in her mind. Still, the girl was curious and ventured forth through the mist, carefully stepping over rocks and tree roots that jutted haphazardly from the ground. She could see the dark outline of another horse standing beside the thick trunk of a tree, but any definition or fine detail was obscured by the mist. "Hello?" She called out to the form while she continued to slowly approach, her ruby eyes scanning for any sign of danger or trouble.

Uncertainty swirled within her chest, making her heart beat just a little bit harder and her breath come a little more frequently and sharply. The closer she moved toward the looming figure in the mist the bigger it seemed to grow, making it very clear that if she were to stand next to him he would tower over her like a giant. That, coupled with the unmistakeable scent of blood that was beginning to permeate the air was enough to make the young girl feel nervous, but not enough to make her turn and leave.

The mist and fog cleared as she drew nearer and when he vision was no longer obscured by it she found herself standing face to face with a stallion, who she could tell immediately held dragon blood within his veins. Crimson eyes swept over the horns, the clawed and scaled forelegs, then finally the expanse of scarred and bleeding flesh. Requiem frowned as she observed the stallion, wondering who he had fought that had left those marks on him.

"You're bleeding." She said dumbly, because obviously he knew that he was bleeding. "What happened?"
