Private Uwaritace
Requiem
Currently championing: Reszo

The girl had been on her own for much longer than she could remember. Her mother had disappeared somewhere within the Rift and so had her brother not long after. For several weeks after their joint disappearance Requiem had searched high and low for them. She had wandered near and far, searched in bushes and under rocks but had found hide nor hair of either of them. At first it had been hard for her to accept that she was on her own, but the more time passed the more she grew accustomed to being by herself. She became stronger mentally, physically, and emotionally as a result.

But when she thought about it, she wondered if she were truly alone. There were plants everywhere and she always thought that they appreciated the rain that she brought them. They were her sheep and she their shepherd. In her mind she throught that, as they grew and reached toward the sky, they were thanking her, especially now. The scorch was in full swing, it was hot, there were wildfires breaking out, and it wasn't raining nearly enough to nourish the plant-life. Several times she had passed through land and had seen evidence of fires that had scorched the land and plants, and so she had taken it upon herself to try to bring the land back to life.

A gentle rain was falling as Requiem moved through the mist. In her wake plants reached toward the sky, and seedlings sprouted from the dirt at her hooves. She didn't know where she was, nor did she know where it was that she was going. She simply walked and allowed her enchanted rain to wash over the land, the plants, and herself.

Branches reached from the roiling mist and the young woman ducked her head beneath them with the intention of continuing her trek. Bu the whisper of Uwaritace in her mind, so sudden and unexpected made the girl stop in her tracks. "Uwaritace?" She repeated, her voice soft yet inquisitive. "Hello?" She turned to look behind her, thinking that maybe someone had crept up and whispered the name, but there was no one to be found, only mist. "Is someone there?"
