We All Must Rise

Seiji is still: a pillar of calm in the chaos of the Portal. It no longer frightens him, but he thinks (hopes) he understands what the stranger is feeling. Dark eyes lower briefly to the bright spot of blood on one of the stranger's limbs. Seiji's ears turn slowly back, a delicate frown. This man looked as if he had been through much, maybe even before arriving. Careful not to move too quickly, Seiji stepped forward. Stepped forward again. Delicately extended his neck. The stranger's voice rumbled between them, and Seiji paused, ears snapping forward. Then vigorously, he shook his head. No, no! He was thinking, though. Did he know of a safe place? And of course, he did. He had just left Halyven. He had no desire to return, but he could hardy leave the man stranded and alone, without direction and without answers. Gently, he reached out to prod the stranger gently on the shoulder with his nose, hoping the man would not flinch away or attack. Seiji would not push if he did, though. Then slowly, Seiji stepped back, turned in the direction from which he had come. He took two steps away and paused, blinking over his shoulder at the man. A simple gesture: this way. He could not explain, but he could take the man to those who could.

ooc// If you'd like, you can feel free to say he followed Seiji to Halyven and stumbled upon the meeting Tech just posted here: http://riftrpg.net/showthread.php?tid=1157&pid=6374 which is open to anyone who wants to join! Seiji is unlikely to actually enter Halyven and would likely leave Misael near the outskirts if he does decide to follow. If you'd like to keep this thread going until it's long enough to claim for RF, I'm also up for that! But Seiji can't talk so Misael would have to do most of the conversing. :P
