Strange lights—fluorescent blues and bright greens, stark red and eye-biting yellow—crowd between the warped, moss-covered trees. In the distance, thunder rumbles, but the lightning flashes in the deep cloud aren't bright, electrical white.
They're other colors, like an aurora borealis transformed into spears and thrown across the stormy skies.
The air is heavy with moisture, laden with power, sheer forces crawling in the churned mud of the Portal's forest.
Whatever the hell this place is, it's unlike anything you've ever felt.
