Darkness again clouds the surrounding bamboo forest. The Metus continued his search, his long tongue reaching out in desperation to touch the soft fur of Roscorro’s body when his tongue was suddenly met with a grab. Anger coursed through the Metus and a sharp roar escaped as Roscorro yanked on his tongue. When the creature let go, the Metus withdrew his tongue back into his mouth, his teeth rotating sharper as though it would be perfectly poised to take a piece of flesh. But because of the yank, the Metus stumbles in the dark – his large claw-like hands reaching out in the hopes of grabbing onto something to propel him backward, to keep his massive frame from falling.
But luck was on the Metus’ side, his unseeing body turning slightly as Roscorro’s charge came right at him. The Metus rolled a small amount – just enough to have Roscorro’s set of horns graze the side of his body. A dark greyish blood began to bead at the surface. Another hiss escaped the Metus, doing his best to bring himself upright again as Roscorro took to the sky. The Metus hesitated, his teeth slowing their rotation as he faced the darkness. “What is it you want?” The Metus’ deep voice rumbled through the earth and air around them, a pointed question to the creature that would be another one to get away from what would have been a beautiful and long feast.

@Roscorro The attacks hit, and renders the Metus calm enough - succeeding to Roscorro. Feel free to ask him questions or what not, he likely won't attack again even though he doesn't speak much!
