HIMELDIR

A few days had passed since Himeldir had passed through the portal, landing back upon his roost. The place had changed since he'd been away for a while. More had befallen the sickness that lay across the land. Most places he remembered where inaccessible, but at least Himel had the one place the glowing man loved so dearly.
The Sirens Summit.
The forest, that carpeted the road towards the glistening mirror, was beautiful, but the one thing that had captured him most was the huge rock protruding from the earths crust, reaching right up into the stars. The mountain had once let of some kind of fire show, at least that's what he thought the glowing red was. Often he'd come back here wondering if it would ever happen again.
He wondered through the trees, lining the way like beacons. Or perhaps he was the beacon lighting them. For a soft blue, purple glow followed him. He'd hoped to come out here for some solitude.
Thought perhaps coming here at dusk wasn't such a great idea, for others would sure see the glow, moving like and inverted shadow through the tall evergreen forest. The smell of damp earthy-ness flooded his nostrils, but something else lingered, something he wasn't so sure on. It piqued his interest, but not long enough to come of concern to him.
Pondering on the lantern made his way to the waters edge, the glow seemed brighter here for the water reflected it twofold. A small beached area was lit up with a soft glow, the kind that fairy lights seem to give off.
Black lips touched its surface, ripples splayed out, corrupting his looks, the light almost seemed to twinkle around him. Raising his head, he glanced around, audits twitching, listening for anything creeping upon him.
Silence.
Some may think that was blissful, but to him it felt strange. Like something was amiss. He froze, feeling that there were eye's upon him, ones which he did not want.

The nocturnal hours were always rather intriguing. Whether it be the inhabitants of the lands or the lands themselves how they seem to morph just like day into night. It was bewildering and in some cases the devil just could not quite understand why on Earth some vegetation or creatures would seemingly mutate from daylight to nightlife. This summit was now the third land the scarlet beast went to explore, slowly and carefully he had begun to make his way through the lands. Learning routes and vegetation, land forms etc that could become very useful in days to come. Rumpel was not one to be ambushed or easily tricked this carefully laid out days were just that, mapping and learning to gain knowledge of every inch of these new lands. The muscles beneath the scarred yet brilliant flesh shifted with the swaggering movements, as he leaned forth to take a drink from the luxurious lake. My wasn't this water stunning as the stars cast above seemed to be doubled upon its surface. Quenching the thirst the devil had slipped away once into the shadows, allowing only the ivory contrast to be seen and only on occasion. The thick skull held in a regal way as he carried those battered horns about, the icy eyes shifting through the shadows until a aura of light was spotted that put the glow of the moon to shame. What was this?! Such excitement rose within his bodice and his eyes, watching the creature moving closer.

This station's cologne soon wafted faintly into the breeze, as the creature inhaled deeply and carefully. There was an orb held between what looked to be horns or spines perhaps. With the flesh of this creature so pastel and alluring and the mane and tail looked as if the galaxy had been thrust upon this equine. How odd was he? And he glowed like that of an insect, perhaps it was light that seeded within his soul or maybe it was truly the stars above giving the creature magic. The glowing being came toward the water's surface, as he drank it seemed more light refracted off the waters surface. Well if there was a party perhaps this equine needed to be called for what a delightful way to light the night. Smirking as one of hysterical giggles came forth, it was haunting and eerie as the stallion slipped from behind the opposing equine and rounding to a further side of the lake before coming forth from the shadows. Surprises were divine but Rum was no fool to spook others directly behind them, that was simply asking to be kicked in the jaws. So there the crimson beast stood about 5 or so feet from the other as a charming grin came quickly, "Well deary don't you put the very moon itself to shame. So divine that aura is." Baritones lathered in a haunting and fatal tone, but oddly alluring.

Aqua gems stared back at him as he looked deeply into the mirrors edge. His nose seemed to vanish as the black did not reflect back to him. Though his horn stood out truly, the orb glowing brightly, pulsating in the darkness of the waters. The Rift had been dark for some time now, but he had always glowed like the night sky. It may have only been small to start with, but he glowed nonetheless. Since his birth town had befallen darkness strange things had happened, his coat had become more of a shining beacon, just like the lands around him. Plants had become bioluminescent, small creatures too glowed in the ever darkness. At first he felt the land was sick, things had had to of died for this to happened. People That should not have lost their lives. He mentally slammed a hoove into the ground upon the angry thoughts. Why had they taken his family only to let him live on in brightness, Life was unfair. But time would come when he could avenge the deaths.

He blinked himself back into existence, his muzzle still lapping up the cool sweet waters of the lake, aqua gems still glaring back upon him; though be it slightly dis-morphed this time. He was pretty.
Rabbit like ears poised as the shuffling sound of foot fall filled them. It may have been quiet to some, but to him it was loud enough for his head to snap up from the lake. There stood the Devil incarnate himself. Dripping in red like the poisonous creature himself. Himel took a steady step back. He wasn't in the mood to fight, he just wanted a peaceful moment to himself. To let everything sink in. Too much had happened in the last few days, the guy needed time to think it all over.
The red devil was big, clearly wearing the signs of a gladiator. scars scattering across his body proving he was of worth in a fight. Himel knew he had no chance against this hulking figure. Even if he was more of a defensive type, he hadn't had to prove himself in a long time. Perhaps though, maybe this guy could Help him. Yes. 'Keep your friends close but your enemies closer'
Though he may not be an enemy yet, he wasn't going to let that happen, this guy would be of use to him. He just needed to gain his trust.

A sly, mischievous grin plastered his lips. As the red Devil himself spoke. Words tickled his love for music. He had to admit the guy was quite captivating when he talked. But his body alone would make anyone puke in their mouth. Unless of course that's what they liked.
"I am the moon" He winked, this guy did not know of him and to play games with him would be fun indeed. "I fell from the moon when she was dark. To light the way for her stars. To spy on the sun himself" he made up some nonsense, hoping that he would fall for his trickery.
The silvery amulet around his neck seemed to glow brighter then a tiny shock, flinched his muscles as it spread across his chest, causing him to stumble backwards briefly. Perhaps just looking like he was backing away from this guy. He tried not to let the sudden pain show. "Come further out of the shadows my friend. feel the light that beholds me" His words were slightly seductive, even if it almost made him sick in his mouth. Himel wanted to get a better look at this guy. To see if it would be easy to gain his trust.

Rumpelstiltskin watched those elongated ears perk as that skull rose and their gazes met, the glowing being taking time to take in what the shadows did not hide. While of course the predatory icy gaze swept across this others more petite frame, built for speed or perhaps stamina or agility. Though the pastels mingling were truly more divine than the glow he emitted, it would seem the other was half uncertain and half curious as most were. That is unless he frightened them which wasn't a rarity that he did. Smirking wildly that Cheshire grin as the opposing stallion began to speak, the words wielding in a rhythmic and poetic manner. Oh wasn't this one going to be fun! Was it bluff or truly a sly creature only time would tell you see, this devil would press the buttons of his core and melt away the lies on top to reach truth for why else does anyone converse. Of course to meet but there is always an end game for even the happiest or purest of souls. As the seductive tones began Rum was beside himself a hysterical giggle escaped as porcelain hooves moved without hesitation toward the moon lit being, muscles twisting and shifting beneath the scarlet hued flesh that became more radiant upon the others brilliant light. Legs paused only a foot from the glowing one as a tilt of his skull was made, "Well deary are I not honored to meet such a being of the moon itself, why what stories and wonders you must encase." The fatal tones cooing to those long ears as his massive frame encircled the creature once, to better inspect every inch. Though no aura or sign of aggression or hostility one could tell it was simply to feast upon the looks.

Returning to face the being Rum spoke once more as a grin spread wide, "Tell me moon child you must bestow a name? I deary am Rumpelstiltskin." Pausing as the primitive gaze swept over his bodice, greedily to make note of every feature. Such a handsome specimen indeed and how quaint a meeting between such two. "Deary how does that spying of the sun take place, have you found his darkest secrets?" Baritones rumbling with ease from that great chest as they lathered in the sweetest of silver tongues, oh it was alluring for any to hear. But what was the devil without his smooth speech? How else would he learn every inch of another, or be able to cast deals to gain without loss. His gaze returned to meet the opposing, as he grinned gently his powerful hindquarters relaxing in an eerily tranquil way. The spikes along his spine came to a rest as did the battle worn horns, but not that everlasting tail that twisted this way and that with such control and fluid motions. The four blades being wielded in a particular manner for Rum could not help but to be intensely amused by the subject before him. Whether this stallion was truly sly or perhaps just one with many masks Rumpel of course had to know more, as if a leech connecting with flesh this devil had connected to this pastel brute. Oh how he pondered the possible outcomes and responses as thoughts couldn't help but to dance within that demented skull.

HIMELDIR

The creatures musical giggle filled his audits. The red man; without hesitation danced towards him. Pastel coated muscles tensed and rippled upon the excitement. A shiver ran down his spine as the devil incarnate stood but mere inches from him, seeming to look him up and down. He hoped he wasn't sizing him up for a fisticuffs. A smile spread across dark lips upon his words. Was he flirting with him. Himel was enjoying this a little more than thought. A slight chuckle escaped his chest. "I do have but maybe a story or two" He flashed him a quick smile, with an almost wink gesture to it. Relaxing more at his presence as he just seemed to circle him, taking every inch in of him. Himel Loved this, his stance raised with his ego, enjoying being drooled all over for a change.

Rumplestiltskin. What an odd name, though fitting for an odd character. He smiled gently towards him "They call me Himeldir" he stated, matter of fact-ly. "It's a pleasure to meet you Rumplestiltskin" His name fell seductively from tar like lips and with an added bow to his words. He bigged up his actions a little more. It may have made him want to puke at first, but somehow he was enjoying this. Toying with something, a being. He felt suddenly like a king, gaining the trust of his men only to send them out to their deaths, so he could keep his castle. It made him feel Big.
"The sun does not shine here. For the moon has taken these lands. So perhaps my spying is all but done" He grinned "I have time to play now" his toned lowered and he gestured them to Rumple's ears alone. Not like there were others to hear them. He wanted to make sure that he knew they were aimed right at him. He laughed slightly menacingly, cranium thrusted towards the permanent dark skys. He let out the howl. I am going to have so much fun with this one.
He waded deeper into the fridged waters, watching his new toy as he went, in an inviting manor. "Lets have some fun" He winked and pushed deeper into the water. Hoping this guy had no idea what was waiting for him. This was a test.

Sparkling water lapped up over the arch in his back, pastel colour's shone out like a night light around him, hoping it would shout out to anything that lurk beneath, watching.
A quick glance over his shoulder the man checked to see if his red demon follow. He flicked him a smile. "I even look good in the water" He chuckle escaped, his ego filled more so. Himel had to admit, that he had not had this much fun in a while. So many were filled with anger and hatred towards this place, that it was a breath of fresh air to find someone that was more like him than he cared to admit. Not once had the disaster of this place been spoken aloud, nor had he even asked where he was from. This spiked his curiosity more over, making him want to find out so much more of this red devil.
The songs of whale's filled his elongated satellites, a masochistic grin spread wide across his face, a sneaky glance back upon his prey, he watched him closely. This was it,. this was what he had planned all along. The song grew closer. Himel readied himself for what was to come.

The Devil had yet to meet any other like him, others excitement was usually contained. Emotions hidden from sight and unless purity shown from them like a beckon Rum was not so easily tricked. This glowing beast was indeed enticing and oh so delicious. Though the happiness that bubbled from within him was odd to say the least even for Rum's standards. Perhaps this stallion had a trick up his sleeve and in that case the devil had to play along, it was always good to keep a reputation going even when it may not be the right situation. The coy comment drew a Cheshire grin upon those crimson lips as a tilt of that chiseled skull was made, listening for now as no words had boomed from his chest. Oh yes Rum could see him inflating before his eyes, for every being loved attention. Maybe it came from others or things but in the end the spotlight called to every creature no matter their alliance. "Himeldir what a bestow to be cast on such a delicacy as yourself." The riddle like words cast forth to lure the glowing creature in as much as he could, finding the stature, the hints of excitement draw upon the others face. Oh yes this was perfect. With the words given in response to a previous notion made those icy eyes flicker; yes my dear you are certainly up to something. For playing did not mean a frolic in the waters oh no it was leading to other things for certain. Yet the wise scarlet beast followed suit as if mimicking Himel, though his movements predatory and primitive in contrast. The laugh that came was almost as disturbing as his own, as a smirk play upon those lips. Watching the glowing creature submerge himself into the waters, creating a firefly like lightning once hidden beneath the surface. Rumpel slithered into the waters as if enjoying every second, "Deary be careful with games....you must make certain you know all moves prior." It was a haunting and bewitching warning as the spikes along his spine breached the water's surface.

The leonine tail slithering back and forth much like a Rutter behind those powerful haunches, eyeing Himel carefully though enthusiastically. "You do look oh so divine..." The darkened voice almost sickening with poison as it cooed to the other for now was the time the greedily eyes took in all. Many at this point would be unaware of what was to come, in fact Rum didn't know exactly the play by play. Though icy eyes intensely fixated upon Himel, watching the movements of his bodice as if attraction was there. Though this wasn't the only case for he noted those elongated ears twitching ever so slightly and truth be told the devil almost missed such a movement. Something indeed was coming forth from these waters and something not quite audible to the lesser ears Rum held, but slowly his bodice began to ready. Not tensing of muscles and not a more aggressive stance instead it was as if the beast became more tranquil, taking a life was not a battle. It was simply to take without asking, without thought or reason. Though the Rift presence had mutated his demented gift Rum had been able to withstand the effects, without passing out entirely. This would be oh so fun and the devil sincerely could not wait, "C'mon deary play me a game...I cannot anticipate what you have in store." How Rum caressed his ego and seemingly as seductive before as if to not alert the other of his forethought, no the devil wanted him to continue. It was time you see to play a game, one where this darling being would learn quickly that the devil isn't one to play games with. "If you lose Himel...I get something in return, deal?" The fatal words slipping from his lips ever so carefully, lathered in a noxious rumble. He wouldn't be Rumpelstiltskin if he didn't make a deal; then again the devil is always fond of those damn things too.

"Me, lose?... What makes you think I'm the one that's going to lose?" He snickered rather menacingly, swimming in a tight circle, hoping that his movements would attract them more. He would not be the one that was going to lose this oh no, he had no idea what was in store for him. "If and that's a big If. I lose, I'll let you have something in return" a wink was aimed at the devil himself. There was a fifty fifty chance that they would both be injured or one would die, sadly Himel was hoping that if Rumple lost, he would loose in a bad way. Even if he was kind of rooting for him, he didn't want to loose either. Such a strange man was Himel.
Still treading water, he swam in circles almost around his new toy, face beaming with excitement as they both anticipated the presence of something one would not like, for if they knew what they were capable of they would not have waded into these terrible waters indeed. Himel was in deep here, literally, deep water. He knew it was a very risky game to play, but something about the red devil did not strike him as a giver-uper. The scars, a huge give away for sure. Himel got the feeling with this Red man around all would be fun indeed.
A loud shriek filled the air around him, a shark like fin broke the surface, coming at them at an alarming speed. The glowing mans heart raced like a thousand drums beating. The time was here, would they sink or swim?
Himel slowly kicked backwards until crystal hooves touched the soft sand upon the bed of the lake, this would give him more of a chance to escape if it so be that way. A glance was shared between the Red Devil and himself, a glance that signaled this was what he had been waiting for. A smirk spread across his lips "I hope your ready for what is about to come" he laughed, just as all went silent. The songs had stopped, the water seemed to completely stand still, hairs on the back of his neck prickled. He took a step back, looking over at Rumples reaction. The pastel man had not exactly thought this through, what if he could not fight, what then? He couldn't do much to help, his magic was not strong enough to save them both. He tried to keep his stance strong and uplifted as to not let this guy see through his glass walls.
The water before them suddenly began to churn like a whirlpool, a sink hole, almost strong enough to suck them under. A half fish half man like creature screamed a sickening wail as they broke the surface, jumping straight into the air with such power, Landing back with a huge splash, aiming right at them both with canine like fangs.
Oh shit.
Himel panicked, not knowing what to do or anything really. He just knew how to panic and that's exactly what the stupid man did. Now he really looked like a fool in front of the Red devil himself. Guess the shit show was over, once he figured out Himel was just a hoax all this time. Having just practically lead them both to their deaths. Perhaps he would kill him and give him the pleasure of not being so embarrassed ever again.

"Talk."

Something was coming as the waters began to vibrate and shiver with movement from something other than the two of them. Icy eyes gazing into the clear waters as ears perked forward in interest of the others words. My, was he not a proud creature? A grin widening upon his lips, perhaps he was a wolf in sheep's clothing though Rum had doubts. For one with a loud bark usually held the softest bite; if any bite at all. A wink was followed by the confirmation of the devil's deal, oh how delightful this would be! Hooves shifted in the waters beneath as the other equine grew more excited. The small notes of his body language giving what was to come away, as a shriek broke the silence. It screeched into the night with ferocity and determination as the crimson ears flattened against the horned skull, the fin broke the surface of those glassy pools and now the game had truly began. The devil did not move just yet for this creature whatever it was wasn't going to attack with brute force, no this would be tactical and Rum had to pay close attention. The glowing stallion had begun to shimmy his way from the waters, ah what a fool he was! The devil chuckled as if laughing in the face of danger, his eyes scanning the waters with a predatory gaze. Himel was leaving and this was a fact to watch a show unfold at his doing. This would be so much fun indeed! Silence and calmness arrived and this is when the scarlet man's muscles tensed across that grand frame, carefully shifted his hindquarters as the wails cut loose once more. Himel with a sheer look of panic and fear, oh the smell was enticing to see the other equine now at the mercy of either Rum or this creature. Certainly this creature could care less, violating such territory would be scolded.

The pull of the whirlpool fought against the massive demon, hooves locking into place as the unusual creature broke the surface. The creature aimed its attack directly upon them with fangs outstretched as if to end this here and now. A glance was shot to the glowing beast as fear crossed his entire features as a smirk played on the crimson mouth. Massive hindquarters tightened and propelled Rum forward in a quick jolt toward the siren, allowing the sirens fangs to grasp the top of his neck. A quick movement followed as the devil splashed within the waters turning his skull abruptly so that his own jaws could lock upon a fin or bodice whatever would do. With concentration it began. The siren began to wail out of ferocity and then began to change pitch as if screaming instead. Rum held tightly as he could locking the jaws even as the siren let go and struggled to set itself free. Within moment both crashed into the waters. The siren now floating upon the surface, pale and flushed of any life. The devil twitching and zoning into a thousand yard stare as he stumbled towards the bank. Falling into a resting position as the world faded to black for a few moments. Within time that passed the scarlet beast with crimson liquid running down his neck began to giggle hysterically as he fluttered his eyes open once more.

HIMÊLDÎR

The water cascaded over his smooth pelt, now paddling in the shallows as he watched the scene unfold before him. If the man in front of him had been female, he'd be all over that. His fighting capability was impressive, a slight turn on if you will. Himel felt rather bad for putting this upon him, but oh so happy about it at the same time. His stance picked up, no longer cowering in the shallows like the damsel in distress. He was almost edging the man on, cheering for his win.
Shit.
Wasn't he the one that had said he wouldn't loose this? yet now he stood there like a lemon watching the devil do all the dirty work for him. He shrugged inwardly. At least he wouldn't be scythed, not like it bothered him, but would that cause his light to fade? Would his coat grow back just as beautiful? Or would it grow back black. Whatever it did he wasn't quite ready to find out.

Wide eye's glued to the creature as it's fangs sunk deep into crimson skin. But the devil did not flinch, his movements just mirrored the Siren's. The pastel man's eye's closed as the scene before him became all to much. Perhaps his game had gone too far this time. All the time people were telling him to stop with the playing, that one day it would cause someone to loose their life. But of course being a young, hard headed boy. He didn't listen to them. However, now in front of him this was about to go down.
Pleading, begging for the guy to not die, Himel did not want that kind of black mark upon his card. He truly felt bad this time. Perhaps this would be his last little trickery, no more games.
A disposition of water caused his eyes to tighten, oh no! What if that was his dead body falling into the water. Pastel shaded eye's could not bare to open, could not fathom the picture of death before him, forever imprinted upon ones brain. Living with the guilt of knowing what happened, that he had caused this to happen.
A giggle broke his reverie, aquamarine pools flew open. Slowly the scene before him materialized into reality. A dead body float upon the surface, looking rather deflated of life, as the red man lay in the waters next to it. Himel rushed to his side in a worried state. what had happened? Had he actually just killed a siren?
He stood there a little dumbfounded, slightly slack jaw. He was incredible. what creature was capable of such atrocities. He smiled a rather sinister grin. "My god you are amazing!" He complemented the guy, despite being the one that usually was the receiver and never the giver.
"Are you okay?" His whole mannerisms had changed now, he was no longer being sly and deceptive, but honest and caring. He was showing his true self to someone, But would they accept him for who he was? Should he apologize to them for doing this? Or should he just let it slide, see if they mention anything. Perhaps they wouldn't even notice. He may have felt bad but my god it had been oh so much fun. For once someone had played along with his games and not just pushed him aside. This brought a little more respect to the surface for his new found game playing friend. A giggle escaped his lips at the thought. "I can't believe you fell or that" He laughed harder, finding it a little too funny. "That was pretty impressive though" He said with a wink, A sliver of his slyness coming back into play once more.

"Talk."
