the Rift

Darkness surrounds you, and an almost uncomfortable sense of accomplishment for your presence begins to sweep over you. There are a couple of multicolored eyes in the distance, glowing and blinking as it watches you. A strange sensation picks up along your spine and where your wings connect to your body, as though it were some strange sweeping motion. Then, suddenly, it's gone with nothing but a trail of cold to follow in it's wake.
