Standing beneath the stark, burn, naked limbs of this massive tree is an equally great and grave creature. The elephantine Loricatrunc sentinel is calm, steadfast, and motionless beneath his iron-grey armor. The plates shift only subtly as dark grey eyes turn towards the sobbing, screaming disturbance to the tree’s misted peace.
A slight twitch of his trunk, a small flap of his pointed ears; and then the great creature went back to statue-like stillness. A great guardian of an already-dead mother.
