The Rift knows little of who she is—it only senses that she is part of the promised feast, the rebirth of the lands slowly starved by the Gods meant to save it.
Oh yes, the mortal inhabitants nestling in its folds had cried and cried for salvation, but what had they gotten? What had heard their prayers?
More monster.
They had ripped the Hearts from the lands, and they had begun to bleed dry.
The shadows twist around her; the neon flicker of vengeful eyes dart across her pale hide, casting stark lights on her. They don't see a supporter of the power which had torn the Portal open. They see only another godskiller, another meal. They sense her veins pulse with power.
The faceless mouth of the Rift opens to devour.
