Dozens of them.
Glowing, unblinking, green.
They focus on the shriek that has garner their attention from the pale creature who enters their shadows. They are still, hovering around, for a few long moments. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
And then—
They strike.
The shadows and eerie green glow decent upon you. There is nothing but soundless wind and voiceless howls of delight. And they leave you ravaged, gone as quickly as they had come.

Glowing green monsters rip free the last vestige of the moon's blood from you. But, even in death, the goddess will be vindictive. Where it is ripped from your flesh is a flesh burn that will not heal, and continues to give off lavender smoke.
