Momentary Malfunction

So innocent; pure & sweet. Everything was dying in Helovia. There was nothing left for her. There was nothing left at all. The pale golden mare shook her skull and watched as bodies fell and exploded with light. This was not right, but what were they supposed to do? They could not fight this, they could not do anything. Bright teal orbs watched as her sisters children died. Their bodies glowed with teal light, and they were gone. She her Hotaru screaming for them. Silver flecked eyes teared up as she started herding the children towards the portal. Once they were in front of it, Raeden nudged in Akriel first, then there was another boy who's mother got killed. She helped him along to the portal as well. Next was Castiella. The girl did not fight, did not argue for once. Instead the small one just walked through willingly. She was willing to do something for once in her life. Tin glanced worried as he was the first to jump through to find the children. Then Raeden closed her eyes. Cream hooves left Helovia and traveled to a new land. Tin landed first with a soft thud of his cloven hooves. Then he was off to fins the twins and that boy. Raeden was thrown out landing heavy on her front legs. A huff came from her maw as he eyes looked around the ill world. Long milky tresses floated behind her. This was not home. They were not home any more. touching the glass spike from Edge she began to look for Tin. She tried to call to him through their bond, but it was gone. She could not hear him. Raeden could only feel that he was around. What is wrong with this place? She mumbled quietly as she continued walking. Tin jumped through a bush to look at the twins. Bright green eyes glowed in the neon light. He walked over to Akriel first. His nose touched his body if the colt would allow. He wanted to make sure he was actually there. Next Tin walked over to the horned boy. Heavy antlers turned and looked at the boy. His small nuzzle reached out to touch him as well. He wanted to make sure everyone was okay. Last was Cas. His ears pinned quickly while reaching his nose out. He knew the girl can be a brute. Finally, after making sure wall were well he looked for Raeden. The bond was quiet, the deer could not hear her. What was happening? In the distance her golden form appeared through the mist. She walked with a steady pace towards the group of children. Sighing, the woman knew this was not going to be easy. Three children in a strange place. This was it. NO MORE FOALS. Having twins was bad enough. When she neared the small group her soft muzzle reached out to nuzzle Akriel. My dear boy it will be okay. How does everyone feel? Her silver orbs glance to the horned boy then to Cas. What is your name little one? I am sorry about your mother.
