At this point I realize that the use of defensive magic is really kind of weird, because it should've affected the previous roll, and not the current, but there's no way to actually incorporate that. Obviously, if you use defensive magic, it shouldn't increase your offensive strength, but that is exactly what is happening right now. /cry
