Don't look back in anger, I heard her say
Trial Green Labyrinth

another mind, another soul, another body to grow old.
it's not complicated.

Otem wanted to smile and take a moment to savour her victory, but something told her that it was better to refrain. Although there were only ghostly eyes and flashes of teeth and lips and tongues, it still appeared as though the spirits were a bit ... sad? Put out? She couldn't really describe what she thought they were feeling, but it wasn't anything that smiling would make better. So instead the oak filly twitched her lips, swallowed down the bubble of joy that had formed in the back of her throat where her anger had been only moments ago, and just listened.

"Well you know, you are a bit terrifying. And without a body..or bodies, it's just ... sort of hard to be around you. How should anyone know if you're even looking at them? If you're happy or sad? If you're here?"

Otem's wings rose and then fell, as if she were putting her hands on her hips, though an equine with wings at her shoulders didn't quite have the same effect.

Well. Off you go. Otem swallowed, glancing around with a mixture of nervousness and sheepishness on her face. She was eager to get away, but she didn't want to disappoint the Rift. "Okay. Well ... thanks? I'll come back to hear more riddles sometimes, okay?" Pandora hooted in agreement as the pair set off, moving deeper into what was once a vibrant labyrinth.
