[SWP] It comes in waves

"Is there any sort of thing that lives in Halyven?" Otem asked, trying to be conversational but feeling incredibly awkward about it. Although her question was directed towards the entire group, Otem knew that Roscorro was still without voice, and so her eyes merely skirted towards him, looking for a shrug, or nod or shake of his massive head. "You know, like how the Magnus Metus lives in the Labyrinth. Is there something that lives here as well?" Maybe we should have answered this question before picking Halyven as our meeting place, Otem thought grimly to herself, wondering if bringing hope here would require another encounter with a creature like the Metus. Only this time, she and Roscorro wouldn't have familiarity on their side.  Pandora flew ahead, her silent wings carrying her easily amongst the spires and ruined buildings. Thus far her predatory sight hadn't spied anything untowards, but that meant very little. Both owl and equine knew perfectly well that things didn't need to be visible in order to hurt you in the Rift. otem I'm a cold day in august, I'm a stream too shallow. I'm a heart-shaped box with no letter inside.
