The outburst of the ivory winged maiden, however hushed it may be, was not lost on Hope despite the pleasantries and the happiness that everyone seemed to radiate. Her glowing eyes scanned over the crowd, answering questions, keeping her eyes partially on the retreating form of Valkyrie through the thick humid rain. Hope knew she wouldn’t let the mare get far, no. There was something in the air about this mare that pulled Hope toward her, something that was wrong – something that needed to be fixed. And she needed to find out what it was.
When the now-herd remained to revel, Hope slipped away, back into those blinding white pockets of the world she had hid herself within, only to appear a few steps before Valkyrie’s form in whichever direction she headed. ”Valkyrie.” She announced to the mare, dipping her crowned head in greeting. ”Would you like to talk?” She questioned, cocking that glowing head of hers in question.
Though Hope knew deep down that she wouldn’t let Valkyrie go, not without telling her what was so upsetting, what that strange aura was that Hope could feel around her like a small bubble. Perhaps, since Hope was indeed a female creature the mare would speak to her – but she also carried antlers of the men before her, an odd combination between the two for the creature she became within the Pinnacle. So, Hope settled, waiting to see if Valkyrie would speak, to see if she’d need to ask more of the mare to find out why she was upset with her choice of leaders and why she seemed to only acknowledge the women in the herd (despite how few there truly were).
“Talk.”
