You think you'll stop me? - Darian - 09-25-2017

His crimson hooves burned into the glowing plants below him. Lava oozed from his frog while the heat consumed his hooves in flame. His white eyes searched around him but he did not know what he was looking for. His horns curved inward and housed a floating orb between them. The orb is red and it grew as he grew, started small as a foal and got larger. Only now it hasnt changed, and neither has he. Darian is a creature that has aged many years but appears the same. He is cursed by a demon inside that stole him in the night of his birth. Claimed by this demon, he had tried to fight it at first but it only brought him, and it, pain. They were bonded at the soul and needed each other to survive. For if this demon were unattached he would instantly take on all his years at once and crumble into ash; a death that's way overdue, and the demon with no host would simply wither away. But if he were to die by any other means then the demon would die with him. So, in a way, they've become friends and learned to live together somewhat peacefully. His demon's name is RazĂșl. But having a demon attached to your soul isnt all that bad when they give you cool powers like hooves that seep lava and a glowing orb between your devilish horns. *What are you doing Dary* his demon whispered within. I don't really know RazĂșl. I dont even remember how we got here...

vanity magic: Floating orb between horns
Offensive magic: lava pouring from hooves
Undiscovered Vanity magic: Entire body can sometimes uncontrollably set in flames. HOWEVER these flames have NO REAL HEAT therefore they are a simple bright vanity magic. They can not and will not ever cause harm or protect him in any way.

We all have our demons.

The Rift's self-proclaimed champion and savior was both of those, and its scourge, its demon; the Rift itself was both life and death, destruction and renewal. It was a giver, it was a taker. It rushed up, a tide of shadow-black bodies, but just as incorporeal. Bright eyes, bright tongues, lick your skin. They leave scorched, hissing marks where they kiss you, before the tide moves on.
