Ahlora refused to scream as it engulfed her, echoing in her mind as she felt it encasing her in blackness. It was no more than a shadow, yet it brought along such strong feelings of fear and grief. Ahlora felt something being taken from her... Torn from her very soul. It let a searing pain in its wake, fading only after the shrieking dark faded away again.

She felt like screaming, searching for answers. Just what had it taken? Why did it cause her such grief?

Confused and feeling utterly alone, more so than she ever had, Ahlora bolted. Frantic and lost, she just wanted a way out.
