Extras
Characters can earn many different extras throughout the site via gameplay! Below is a brief summary of the extras, but please click on the navigation links for more details! Trials
Trials are challenges and tasks the Rift may set for any character. They may be purposefully sought after, or the Rift Presence may appear at random. Their rewards vary from magic, mutations, companion magic, companions, or items.
Mutations
Mutations are physical or magical design elements.
Magic
Magic is a force that characters may wield. There are various categories of magic, and it is earned via Trials. The strength of magic is based on a character's Rift Force.
Companions
Companions are miniaturized versions of creatures that share a link to a character's soul. They are earned via Trials. They may have magic and items. A character needs a certain amount of Rift Force in order to be able to bond to one.
Items
Items may be 'normal' or 'enchanted.' Normal items are not in an official database table, but are recorded in character profiles with link-proof. Enchanted items are recorded in an official database table.
Character Titles
Character titles are monikers for characters that describe them beyond their name. They are known throughout the Rift and can be earned in various ways.
