Basics

  • Characters may obtain items as they adventure through the Rift, or join with them.
  • Items are categorized into ‘normal’ and ‘enchanted’ items:
    • Enchanted items hold any sort of magical ability (i.e. self-wielding spear, glittering cloak, bottomless bag, weightless armor, etc.)
    • Normal items are as the name implies: normal and unmagical.
  • There is no limit to the number of items a character can hold.
  • Item size/conversions:
    Size Limit Conversions
    Small≤ 0.5m
    Medium0.5-1.5m3 small
    Large1.5-3m3 medium, 9 small

Normal

  • These are any kind of item without magical properties.
  • These are kept record by players in character profiles.
  • There must be a link with IC proof of obtaining the item for it exist in the game and belong to the character.

Enchanted

  • These items hold some sort of magic within them.
  • Their magical powers are only as strong as the RF held by the owner. Referring to the 'Magic' page may be helpful!
  • These are separated into 4 categories:
    • Vanity - items whose inherent magic imbues it with varied effects
    • Offensive - items that aim to cause an action on another
    • Defensive - items that may be used to protect
    • Companion - items belonging to characters’ companions
