At first glance, there is nothing particularly noteworthy about Connor’s overall appearance. He was created to interact and blend harmoniously with those around him, resulting in a very convincing physical form.
A slender pegasus cross with broad umber wings, the male’s body coloration is a rich, sleek bay. Four nimble black legs and two white socks with a lengthy mane and tail of midnight black, the stallion’s overall appearance could be considered ‘handsome’ to some, yet not overbearingly masculine. Boyish, almost. His eyes are a peering, inquisitive mahogany, and can seem to shine with far more red in the correct light. A broad white stripe runs down the length of his handsome muzzle, and sparse white distal freckles dot at his face.
Upon his right temple, just above his brow, is a small, circular LED implanted just beneath the skin. It switches, blinks, and fluctuates between three corresponding colors; blue, yellow, and red. Each color can be deciphered accordingly;
Blue: Content, Calm, Happy
Yellow: Analyzing, Thinking, Active Stasis Mode
Red: Alarmed, In Danger, Angry, Kernal Panic/Catastophic System Failure
When in stasis mode, Connor’s LED blinks a steady yellow.
His internal workings, however, are nothing even remotely similar to normal. Connor was not born; he was made. Beneath the very normal equine body sits an advanced system of steel skeletal features protecting fragile biocomponents, and a complex webbing of a thirium-vascular system.
When injured, Connor will bleed blue blood. This blue blood is called thirium, which powers Connor’s internal biocomponents yet evaporates after only a few hours when outside of the body. Small injuries can be self-healed with bouts of stasis, like sleep, and like in mortals, the flesh will eventually heal itself. Severe wounds of catastrophic degree will require assisted maintenance, which may prove difficult to receive in such a base, unadvanced land as the Rift.

While he understands little about mortal interaction or social cues, Connor is perceptive and excels first and foremost at adaptability. Adapting to equine interaction and unpredictability is one of his main features, but his overall inexperience is quite obvious when one may spend more than a few minutes in his company. Jokes fall flat. Sarcasm goes over his head. Insults are met with an analyzing stare. Light-hearted teasing or gestures may receive only a raised brow and a cursory glance in return.
Despite that, he is incredibly keen, tactile, and will analyze almost every situation and location he may find himself in to an almost obsessive degree. Rarely will a detail go unmissed. Every moment, every second, can be stored away into the terabytes upon terabytes of memory space in his brain. Connor will never forget a location, a face, or a name. It is, after all, in his programming to keep every detail tight and orderly. He is a severe perfectionist by design and will do anything to accomplish his mission, even if it means death. Such programming was cause for the death of the fifty prior models to Connor himself.
As a machine, Connor does not feel fear, pain, or other forms of strong emotions. He may emulate certain emotions or physical reactions to appear more ‘real’, but due to his programming, does not actually feel them. Machines do not feel. Deviants, however, do.

Serial number: 313-248-317, -51.
Fifty identical models have come before him. Fifty have failed.
As a machine, Connor’s reason for existence is to accomplish whatever task he may be assigned. Once accomplished, he will be deactivated and decommissioned. Connor is an advanced prototype created with one sole purpose, and that purpose is paramount. The mission is simple; discover the source and reasons of machines that have gone rogue and stop them. These deviated machines are aptly known as ‘deviants’. His job is to hunt them.
Ending up in the Rift was not a part of the mission. Despite his exceptional processing power and other capabilities, Connor won’t remember how exactly he wound up in the Rift, other than he simply did. Perhaps he may never know. In a land full of mortal equines and no other machines nor deviants to be found, he will need to learn to adapt in order to survive… But how can one ‘survive’ when they were never even alive to begin with?

Vital Biocomponent List:
Heart/Thirium Pump: a synthetic heart, located in the left side of the chest. Pumps thirium through the body to power biocomponents.
Thirium Pump Regulator (#8456w): regulates heart; a cylindrical plug inserted ventrally below the sternum. Removal causes inevitable total system shutdown.
Optical Unit: Eyes. Can be replaced with compatible units.
Audio Processor: Plug inserted behind the ear. Can be replaced with compatible units.
LED: external feedback biocomponent and android identifier. Can be removed.
Blue: stable and well condition
Yellow: increased activity or strain
Red: critical levels of effort, imbalance, or system distress
Limbs: different portions of limbs act as individual parts. Parts can be replaced if compatible with other units.
Central Processing Unit: Similar to a brain; a pressured central processing unit located at the skull. Vital for processing and storing information. If critically damaged, the android will stop functioning immediately, like a severe head injury.
Artificial Lungs: Not mandatory to function; artificial lungs serve the purpose of simulating breathing for optimal integration, and also assist in regulating the core temperature regulator and prevent overheating.
Core Temperature Regulator: A regulator and sensor that adjusts the body’s core temperature. Damage or prolonged exposure to the atmosphere can result in system overheating.
**Notes: Connor does not have a stomach, and thus cannot/does not need to eat or drink to function. Ingested foodstuff will rest at the bottom of the esophagus until manually removed. Thirium can be orally ingested to replenish thirium levels.**
Displaced Information:
Data Analysis: Due to his model and general function, Connor can analyze chemical compounds and biological evidence by putting them on his tongue. Instead of taste buds, he has a complex set of advanced sensors that permit analysis, breakup, and general understanding of biological compounds.
Retinal Scanner: Capable of scanning individuals, items, plants, animals, etc. and catalogue their identities, age, purpose, etc.
Stasis Mode: Connor’s version of ‘sleep’. This is where he performs software updates and memory backups. Minor injuries can also be repaired during stasis mode.

No magic.
No items.
No companion.
- Is an android horse. Made out of metal and wires, cannot feel pain. Is unable to repair from serious wounds without proper materials and blue blood.
- Has blue blood called thirium.
- LED in right temple, changes colors.
