BEFORE HELOVIA
Born to a servant family, Rexanna grew up serving the King of her lands. She knew of nothing more in her life other than caring for the kingdom and serving her King to the best of her ability. As she grew up, she began to take note of the Kings bitterness toward her. It caused a bit of an upset to her as she began to realize how different she looked from her parents. Her coat was extravagant and exotic. The horn that sat upon her head was also unique, seeing as only those with royal blood carried such crowns. She had always figured that her horn was the reason the King despised her so much. She was a servant girl born with a mutation of royal blood. Though it didn’t stop her from wondering if she carried any royal blood within her and if it were perhaps chance that it appeared within her, which made her think that it was the reason the King kept her so close to him.

The kingdom had been at war for months, and when the girl turned two years old negotiations went underway to end the war. Rexanna’s home was in the North and those from the West strived to beat them and take their mountainous lands. Though the negotiations were new to Rexanna and her kingdom and they did their best to accommodate. One afternoon, the golden child was summoned to speak with her Lead and she curiously obliged. The King spoke to her, filling her mind with the idea that he had been protecting her from those that might have wanted her killed. She wasn’t sure what he was talking about until he told her that she was his own child. He spoke of Rexanna’s mother and about how Rex had killed her during birth.

With all this new information in her head, she was summoned and told to join the Prince in the West to end the war. There was nothing she could say against it, so she was taken to the far lands of waters and forests to live with the Kingdom of the Pegasi. The Prince she was to join had been quite handsome, but rather standoffish. Calstron seemed to never pay her much attention, but instead seemed very curious in her history. Rexanna did her best to explain that she too had no idea where she came from aside from what had been told to her.

Silently, the golden girl watched as what was supposed to be her Kingdom turned into a fortress. They did everything to keep her hidden from everyone and everything. She did her best to try and please the Western Kingdom. Even begging Calstron to give her a child. Which, he did. Though months later, he happened to also entangle her mind with a kind of magic that was so powerful that even she didn’t know what to do to fight against it. They watched Rexanna’s memories together. Even ones she didn’t know that she had. She watched as her birth happened and how the King had her mother killed as well as a strange man who looked more like Rexanna than the King had. Rexanna had figured that her mother had an affair which led to her death.

Filled with all of this new information, Calstron quickly grew angry all the time. Threatening Rexanna to take her life. Yet a few days later after the revelation of her history, Calstron ran to the North with armies upon armies, taking her as a hostage to see what the fraud had caused. She saw her home up in flames, children dying, mothers killed. The King seemed to not even care about Rexanna but instead spoke out of why he had done it. Within all of the disruption, the golden girl had managed to escape. Calstron had managed to kill the King and take the land, but put a warrant out for Rexanna to return to him alive. Though during her escape, she miscarried the child she carried for Calstron. Afterwards, during a bit of a mental break, she managed to slip out of Calstron’s officers numerous times by agreeing to sexual acts with them. It’s what kept her alive, and now she’s here in Helovia.
