You can read up on landmarks here!

A landmark is essentially a small, particular area of a land, discovered via posting, and, entirely designed by the player/s involved in discovering it. A landmark ought to have something distinguishing it from the rest of its locale; for example, just 'any other glade' in Solanis isn't particularly exciting, but what about a glade with a hill of bones in it? Or a glade with a breathtaking, sparkling pond, full of vibrant fish and flowers? Or perhaps a glade where something rather historic happened, and left traces - perhaps blood stains magically seared into the earth?

In order to properly discover a landmark, you need a total of two different, completed (by RF earning standards) threads at the location. A total of three different characters - including your own - must have visited the landmark in these two threads.

What about threads made before the launch of the landmark system?
As long as you get the actual landmark approved, you are allowed to use older threads as discovery threads, as long as they're completed.

The OOC Process
  1. Post to this thread with your landmark idea
  2. Admin will respond and either a, approve it or b, ask for modifications
  3. Once approved, go ahead and discover it!
We use pre-approval so you do not go through the process of discovering a landmark only to find that it is inappropriate for its location.

Once you have properly discovered your landmark, post to this thread. The landmark will be added and you'll be rewarded your Rift Force - a whooping 10!

For the time being, all landmarks are listed on the guidebook entry.

Have fun exploring!
